Warranties, Terms and Conditions
We are pleased to offer the following warranties:
All posts, supports and components are guaranteed against manufacturing and design defects for three years from the date of installation.
Most Shade Sail Cloths are guaranteed for ten years against UV breakdown. All Manufactures warranties and guarantees are passed through (a copy of these are available on request)
Minimal colour fading can occur after three to five years. Most Shade Cloth guarantees are for ten years against major colour fading. 
Most PVC's are guaranteed for three to five years against UV breakdown. All Manufactures warranties and guarantees are passed through (a copy of these are available on request)
Most Canvas is guaranteed for 5 years. All Manufactures warranties and guarantees are passed through (a copy of these are available on request).
A "Shade Plus" shade sail system complies with the Australian (no New Zealand equivalent) standard AS 4174 -1994, which relates to tension membrane systems.
Manual Screens
Workmanship and materials are guaranteed for one year excluding zips. Zips are covered except for zips that have been forced or damaged through abuse.
(Be aware that zips in high use areas may need replacing part way through the life of the screens.)
The buyer's remedies will be limited to either the replacement or repair of the goods, or damages equivalent to the total invoice.

Terms and Conditions are as follows:
It is the property owner's responsibility to check with their council and obtain the relevant building or resource consents, if required. The Christchurch City Council has determined that residential shade sails do not require building permits. Shade Plus will supply plans, documents and a producer's statement to support the application if requested. A structural engineers report can be arranged but this will be an additional cost.
Any customer instigated changes in design or layout after work has commenced may result in additional charges.
Anchor locations can differ from the concept drawing, in order for Shade Plus to secure good anchorage points.
Our staff or contractors require unrestricted site access, the timing of this will be discussed with you in advance of them going on site. If we encounter any restrictions that delay us additional time charges may apply.
You are responsible for identifying any underground services. Any damage or costs arising from unidentified or wrongly identified underground services shall be your responsibility.
Shade Plus is responsible for leaving the site tidy, This includes removing anything surplus brought onto site by us. This includes any surplus concrete, materials and products. The removal of surplus soil is the client's responsibility, although we can arrange for this for an additional fee.
Upon acceptance of this quote a deposit may be required. The balance is due within 7 days of installation.
You can make payment by direct credit, cheque or cash. Our bank account details are Kiwibank, Wellington Branch, account number 389005 0458767 00. We do not accept credit cards nor do we have EFTPOS facilities.
The customer will insure the property from the date of installation against risk of insurable damage.
The ownership and property of the goods delivered and installed remains with Shade Plus until payment has been made in full. Shade plus retains the right to enter upon the property to remove any materials or products not fully paid for.
The quotation is valid for 30 days from the above date.
